6th Grade Should Still Be In Elementary School

Although 6th grade is probably one of the best years of a person’s life it still has challenging flaws. Grades can drop from starting it. There fore 6th grade should still be in elementary school. To start, the transition can be immensely challenging because people are not completely ready. If you aren’t prepared grades can go from best to the worst. When you are nervous, your brain panics and thinks sometimes wrong than right, there fore you fail tests and quizzes. As well as academic problems, social problems can occur. You can sometimes go from the most popular kid in school to being not liked and picked on. When you’re not ready for the bigger leagues kids see it in you and prefer not to hang around you. It’s possible that you may not be ready to make new friends when others are leaving your old friends in the past.
Another reason 6th grade should still be in elementary school is kids need more time to prepare. I think that students and teachers as a reenactments t prepare for middle school. The preparation for middle and high school is very important for students to succeed in life. The main cause of dropouts are because nervousness and not being prepared. Students need more teachings of middle school and learning how to survive there. Whether its academics of social problems they need to be taken care of and the perfect time for it is in 6th grade being in elementary school.
Finally and most importantly teachers need to cover middle school expectations and what it will be like in middle school, in 6th grade. The students need to know how things work there. If students don’t know what to do and what is expected of them, middle school will be a disaster. Students should have a 6th grade preparing class to teach what middle school is all about. When students are able to know what things are like they can be successful in school and life.
